State Road Championships - Sunday

Let's get pumped - this is a big one.

When: Sunday May 16th

Start time: All Juniors- 8:15am
Cat 5- 7:40am
Cat 4- 7:40am

Who's Racing: Marcos, Nathan, Kramer, Pablo, Donovan, Logan, Lizzy, Tulio, Max, Alex S.

Drive Time to Globe: 2 1/2 Hours-- So says google for 124 miles

Junior Racers: I will be leaving the clubhouse at 4:45 am. This will put us arriving at 7:15am, a good hour to get warmed up and prepared. We need to leave prompt at 4:45 am.

Category Racers: You likely will need to leave earlier and we wish you all the best, and great legs.

Drivers for Juniors: Myself (Ignacio), Kathleen, and maybe Mark.

Weather on day of event: High 90 Low 56

I will be staying for the awards ceremony after the race. I think that we have a great chance on seeing quite a few of you up on the blocks. So in turn we will need to go out and get something to eat in the time inbetween the race and awards. Last year Nippy took us all out to a Chinese buffet, and I would really like it if we could do the same this year. After the racing I think it would be great if the whole team could get together at the buffet and have lunch together. So everyone if you feel like to can and want please plan on this and BRING $5.

Also please bring a change of clothes so you are comfortable after the race. Pack a bag with a change of clothes and your El Grupo Team T shirt.
