She is definitely in a good mood and was making jokes when I spoke with her at 5:45pm. Both of her parents were with her and also in good spirits. She might be spending the night and would not mind visitors tomorrow if she is still there. I will keep everyone posted.

I am fine and home. I look like the Sloth from the Goonies, the one funny looking guy that becomes friends with chunk. Yeah I look like him cause one side of my face is so swollen. And for all my pains I got the Vicaden. So I'm pretty good. I might come by the clubhouse today to say hi.

I was in the group of riders that stopped to help. So glad you're home and healing. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

I was one of the people that helped get you stabilized and transported off the "Bitches". You were hanging pretty tough and now you can brag about being air-lifted out of a 24hr MTB race. Luckily you had other riders, a Nurse & 2 EMT's there to help before Search & Rescue ever got there. Glad your feeling better! Awesome ride, and hope you make it out again next year!

Happy to hear your home Ashley...
I was on my last lap when myself and another EMT found you taking your "dirt nap". When you came round you had no idea that you were in a 24hr race. All kinds of riders stopped their race to help. You are in good hands when in the company of cyclists. Keep on riding.

Ashley, your bike emerged wonderfully unscathed. Except for the rear derailleur. It's not working again. What a great first project for your mechanics training!
See ya soon,
Richard
